Meet Mike Moleschi

I’m Mike Moleschi a health and fitness coach for TAF.

Starting at a young age I spent a lot of time with my parents in the gym and watching them play baseball. A childhood game that comes to mind that I recall playing with my dad was to see if I could get my fingers out from between his bicep and his forearm before he would fake “crush” them, with his bicep flex – I often lost this game. I always looked up to my dad for the sheer size of him and his friends in the gym, yet I was just a scrawny kid.

Throughout my teens my path descended into a bit of a dark hole that I quite honestly didn’t know I would be able to get out of. After years of attempting to better myself something clicked. I bloomed.

My early 20’s I found fitness with my dad by my side, it was different with a bow flex in the basement, but it was something, it was a beginning.
After hit and miss with my workouts through the next few years working away painting,I felt myself feeling alone and angry with who I was with regard to my health and physique. I needed to redefine who I was and the way I wanted the world to see me. I wanted people to see that I took myself and my goals seriously – so that’s what I started focusing on.

I picked a gym, went in and got a membership. In that gym I remember observing a monstrous man. To this day he doesn’t know how much he inspired me by seeing how built his physique was. This man inspired me even more, to change my life. I watched his routine daily, and then wrote it down on my phone. I would perfect his workouts, determined to grow and change, just like him.

In 2019 I got my first coach. I wanted to hit the stage and see what I had to offer the judges. Then Covid hit, so my selected show had been postponed.
Then we chose our next show and I started prep again. Then a month later, I got a job offer I couldn’t refuse, so we postponed it again.

In 2023 I was set to hit the stage and I finally made it happen, in true beginner fashion. I loved every second of it, so much that I plan to walk the stage many more times again.

What I’ve learned over the years in my fitness journey, is that having goals and a knowledgeable coach by your side, will cause you to flourish and want personal growth. A good coach will ultimately change your life, and have you regularly working toward reaching new goals you set for yourself on a constant basis.

Competing sparked a flame in me to want to do the same, utilize my passion for bodybuilding to help others reach their health and fitness goals. The gym is my second home and fitness and living a healthy lifestyle, can truly change your life for the better.

My coaching philosophy is to motivate people to be the best versions of themselves, because once you find it in yourself, you become unstoppable.
